This summer, experience the magic of Cape Cod over a special two-day weekend, August 8-9, 2026. Join us in beautiful Provincetown, MA, where WashU alumni, family, and friends will come together for a memorable gathering. Connect, celebrate, and make lasting memories with our vibrant community.
On Saturday, we will host a welcome reception at the Inn at Cook Street with light appetizers and drinks, followed by an optional dinner at a local restaurant to continue connecting with fellow alums and enjoy what Provincetown’s nightlife has to offer.
On Sunday, we will start at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM) for a tour of the highly regarded exhibition, Marcia Marcus: Mirror Image, led by Christine McCarthy, CEO of PAAM. This focused survey of paintings spans 30 years, from 1964-1994, and marks the first solo exhibition of the artist’s work since 2017. The exhibition includes Marcia Marcus’ critically acclaimed group portraits in dialogue with important works in other genres such as self-portraiture, still-life, landscape, and architecture, highlighting the artist’s formal inventiveness. Marcus’ work is known for its rigorous and sensitive depictions of cultural figures and her distinctive atmospheric quality that combines intimacy with intensity.
We will then gather for a bay-front porch party at the home of Lars Etzkorn, AB ’87, founder of the WashU Pride Alumni Network (WUpan), and his husband, Gregory Hoss. We will enjoy delightful bites, festive cocktails, and great conversation.
Don’t miss this celebration of community, connection, and inclusion. All are welcome!
