The WashU Black Alumni Council (BAC) is excited to continue the tradition of gathering on Martha’s Vineyard, a beloved summer destination that holds a special place in the hearts of many in our community.
This August, please join us for our third annual event on the island. Whether you’re a regular visitor to the Vineyard or experiencing its charms for the first time, this gathering provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with other WashU alumni and strengthen the bonds that unite us.

Tuesday, August 12
6 p.m. | Alumni Mixer in Oak Bluffs
Kick off WashU on the Vineyard with an alumni mixer hosted by Lori Davis-West, AB ’84.

Wednesday, August 13
10:30 a.m. | Brunch reception and panel discussion at Harbor View Hotel
Join us at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown for a brunch reception and "Meeting the Moment: Public Health, Education, and Investment in 2025," a panel discussion featuring WashU Chancellor Andrew D. Martin and Dwight A. McBride, Gerald Early Distinguished Professor and director of the Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity, and Equity (CRE2) at WashU. Additional panelists will be announced.
4 p.m. | Meet-up at Inkwell Beach
Close out the experience with a casual beach meet-up at Inkwell Beach in Oak Bluffs.
