MARTHA’S VINEYARD: WashU on the Vineyard 2026

We’re thrilled to return for our 4th annual event on Martha’s Vineyard, a cherished summer tradition bringing together WashU’s Black alumni, family, and friends for connection, culture, and community.

This year, we’ll kick things off with a guided tour of the African American Heritage Trail of Martha’s Vineyard, then return to the historic Inkwell Beach where we’ve reserved space for our group to relax, connect, and enjoy the water.

Look for our WashU flutter flags and signature red beach towels to find the group! 

Presented by Lori Davis, AB ’84, with Reginald Binford, BS ’03, BSBA ’03, joining as co-host, this special Vineyard event is part of our “Road to Black Alumni Weekend” series, offering a great chance to learn more about the celebrations ahead.

All are welcome. Whether you’re a day-tripper or making the Vineyard your destination, come join us for community, conversation, and joy in the sun.
