We regret to inform you that Reunion at Thurtene Carnival has been canceled due to Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Washington University in St. Louis is committed to the health and well-being of our community. Given recent guidance from the CDC on limiting the spread of COVID-19, as a precautionary measure, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Reunion at Thurtene Carnival.
We encourage you to visit the Washington University Emergency Management website to learn about the university’s response to COVID-19 and how we are trying to reduce the risk to our community and to the region.
We want to thank all of our Reunion volunteers and those alumni who were already registered to attend Reunion. We look forward to Reunion Weekend each year, so we share your disappointment in this change of plans. However, your health and safety remains our top priority. Together, we can contribute to protecting the well-being of the Washington University alumni community.
At this point, we do not currently believe it would be feasible to reschedule Reunion at Thurtene Carnival. However, should we decide to reschedule we will inform all members of the 2020 Reunion Classes.
For those that have already registered for Reunion, you will receive additional information within the next few days regarding a refund on your registration fees.
We encourage you to cancel your hotel reservations as soon as possible. If you have a hotel reservation at one of our host hotels, please contact your hotel directly. To read the hotel's cancellation policy, please refer to the room reservation confirmation sent by the hotel.
