There are many ways people can successfully launch a job search; there is no one, single "right" way to go about it. That said, there are proven best practices that, when followed, will give you the best possible chances at landing not just any job, but one that's more likely to lead to happiness and career fulfillment. In this webinar, certified career coach and WashU alumnus Kevin M. Kiley, MBA ’07, will describe a number of those best practices, so that you can not only maximize your chances for success, but also sidestep some of the classic mistakes.

For more than 10 years, Kevin Kiley has successfully coached early and mid-career professionals, career switchers, high-potential leaders, medical doctors, and graduate and undergraduate students. Kevin holds certifications for career and leadership coaching, and his work has also spanned leadership communication, presentation skills, professional presence, team-building, and conflict management.

He also gives presentations and webinars on these and related topics on college campuses, for alumni associations, in corporate settings, and at professional events. Kevin’s background includes more than five years of leadership experience in corporate talent development and more than five years recruiting and evaluating talent for MBA programs at Washington University in St. Louis. In these roles, as an independent coach and as the hiring manager for over 100 professional positions, he has reviewed thousands of candidate applications. Additionally, Kevin is a national-award-winning communicator; his 8+ years of experience as a professional editor is highly leveraged in reviewing client resumes, LinkedIn profiles, cover letters, and other communications. Kevin earned an MBA from WashU’s Olin Business School and was academically ranked 12th in his class. He is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, is a certified career coach, and also is an admissions consultant for graduate school applicants. He coaches clients throughout the world while based at his home office in Dallas-Fort Worth, USA.
