Join WashU Hillel and the WashU Pride Alumni Network for a virtual conversation featuring Matt Adler, AB ’08, Washington D.C. native and author of More Than Just Hummus: A Gay Jew Discovers Israel in Arabic.

In a world where travel is currently limited, books serve as much-needed getaways to other countries and cultures. Alumnus Matt Adler, who speaks eight languages, including Arabic, recently detailed his experiences living in Israel in his book, More Than Just Hummus: A Gay Jew Discovers Israel in Arabic. While we can’t travel as we would like, Matt invites you to join him on a journey from the comfort of your own home as he discusses his book and his experiences connecting and making peace through transformational friendships and dialogue. The conversation will be moderated by Lars Etzkorn, AB ’87, chair emeritus, WashU Pride Alumni Network.
