What does business have to say to literature? Or literature to business? Do future business leaders have anything to learn from fiction? And can great stories be reimagined through the expertise of executives? These questions come together in Markets and Morality, a new course for WashU’s Beyond Boundaries program. Two faculty members—Peter Boumgarden from Olin and Abram Van Engen from Arts & Sciences—will share how the promises, pitfalls and possibilities of the modern market come alive and challenge us in new ways when we approach them through the creative imagination of the literary arts.

Olin's Century Club Business Series has connected Olin alumni with executives from premier business for more than 35 years. This event is held in partnership with the Arts & Sciences Connection Series.
