About Michael Alm:
Michael Alm is a Seattle-based sculptor and wood worker. After studying sculpture at Washington University in St. Louis, Alm started his career as a studio assistant for Dale Chihuly. He installed glass chandeliers in museums, public spaces, and private homes. He then worked behind the scenes at the Henry Art Museum helping artists create elaborate exhibitions.

In 2014 Alm found a space in Seattle ideal for building out his hybrid sculpture studio and furniture shop. Michael Alm maintains a studio practice building lifelike animal anatomy studies out of wood. He also produces two woodworking videos a month on his YouTube channel, educating others about furniture making.

Popular projects include the Melting Table, the Murphy Bar, and his many experiments with Patterned Plywood. To see examples of Alm's sculptures, visit michaelalm.com.

About Micki Lippe:
A studio jeweler for more than 40 years, Micki's work has been exhibited in the United States, Germany, and Korea. Her focus for many years was on a production line, but for the last several years she has been making one of a kind jewelry. She has been a member of a women’s hiking group for the last 20 years, and that time in nature has greatly influenced her work.
