Seattle is known for having some of the best coffee in the world. Join Allecia Vermillion, AB ’01, to discover why. Allecia will talk Seattle and all things coffee with Deming Maclise, owner of Caffe Vita Coffee Roasting Company. The event will conclude with a demo and tasting led by Sam Spillman, director of coffee experience and cafes and 2019 US Barista Champion. The tasting will feature a sampling of Caffe Vita's delicious single origin coffee and their recently launched pourover, the Pourigami.

Allecia Vermillion is a Portland native living in Seattle, where she is the editor-in-chief and food and drink editor of Seattle Met magazine by day and a respectably prolific beer and wine drinker by night.

About Caffe Vita Coffee Roasting Company:
Caffé Vita has been roasting coffee in Seattle since 1995 as an independent and locally-owned company. From its beginnings at the base of Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood, the company now operates 11 cafes throughout Seattle, Portland, and New York. Caffe Vita coffee is always fresh, imported directly from the farm, and roasted on-site in Seattle, Brooklyn, and Portland.
