Join the WashU Dallas Network as we gather to help feed the city! At this event, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on your community by preparing lunches for those in need.
Disclaimer: This event is hosted by Tango Charities every last Saturday of the month. WashU is organizing a group to support them for one Saturday, April 26.
WashU will provide the supplies listed below for each person who registers with our group. Please meet our site leader in the parking lot at 8:30 a.m. to help them carry in the supplies for our group.• Supplies for 25-30 sandwiches
o Deli meat (turkey, chicken, or ham; no deli counter meat)
o Sliced pre-packaged cheese
o Sliced wheat/white bread
o Yellow mustard (no spicy mustard or mayo)
• Halos, Cuties, or tangerines
• Large bags of chips (not individual bags)
• Ziploc sandwich bags (with zippers, not fold over)
Feel free to bring supplies to make additional meals if you wish!
Event day:
All ages are welcome; those under 18 require adult supervision.
Wear orange (optional), tie your hair back, and wear bleach-safe clothes and closed-toe shoes.
