About

Each year, WashU Racing designs, manufactures, and assembles a formula-style race car to compete at the Michigan International Speedway. Judged by industry professionals and competing against over 100 other student teams in seven events, this 70 person student-run Formula SAE team is dedicated to developing the most exhilarating and innovative vehicle possible, while allowing students the opportunity to apply knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world projects.

Despite being an engineering club, WashU Racing is open to students from all degree programs and colleges within the university. With over 60 active members from various majors, WashU Racing has more creative minds than ever, and students are constantly exploring new innovations and improving their knowledge of engineering with hands-on experience.

As an entirely student-run organization, WashU Racing relies on the support of donors to help fund research and development for this project each year. Gifts of any size provide essential assistance in making this project possible.

Your gift helps ensure that these students will have the funds necessary to excel as student engineers and reach their goal of placing in the top 25 at this year’s competition! Participate today and help us exceed our goal of 50 donors by November 25!

THANK YOU for helping us reach our goal!
