Class Gift Information

Welcome back for your 50th reunion, Class of 1974!

Reunion is a special time to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate with your classmates. It is also a wonderful time to continue the longstanding tradition of giving back in honor of your time on campus. Your gift of any amount to any area of the university is a meaningful way to commemorate your time at Washington University.

Not sure where you want to designate your gift? Browse areas to support and choose the school, scholarship, or program that is most significant to you.

Class Challenge Information

Your classmate Dave Rossetti (BS '74) and his wife, Jan Avent, have made a generous commitment to the university as a challenge to classmates from the class of 1974. They will match dollar for dollar every renewed gift and will match 2:1 for increased gifts and multi-year pledges up to the total of their gift of $60,000.

What is a memory from your time on campus?

Back before smartphones, the internet, and personal computers, dorm students needed an accurate phone directory. A few of us gathered info from many sources and scrubbed the data so hard that we were able to build the South Forty Mini Phone Directory with all 2,000 students listed on two sides of a stiff card, tiny print, and sold it for 25 cents, free if your entry was incorrect. We only gave away a few!
