Celebrate WashU Giving Day!
Let's go big, WashU: It's Giving Day!
Talented students, renowned faculty, exceptional learning opportunities, life-changing research — there are countless reasons Washington University is so special. And we’re once again coming together as One WashU to celebrate every one of them with a 24-hour fundraising blitz.
It’s easy to participate: Simply make a gift of any amount to any area before midnight on April 8. Your contribution will help us reach our goal of 3,000 donors, unlocking two challenge gifts!
Your support makes a world of difference for our students, faculty, and researchers. So whether you want to honor a beloved professor, drive innovation, support your favorite Bears team, or pay it forward to today’s students, this is the day to make it happen!
To encourage your participation this Giving Day, Steve Green, MBA '83, and Mona Green have issued a generous challenge to the WashU community: If 2,500 donors make a gift before midnight on April 8, they’ll contribute $250,000 to the university!
“Receiving a scholarship to attend WashU was extremely important for me, and we consider it a privilege and responsibility to pay that opportunity forward. We are especially inspired to support scholarships, public health initiatives, and Alzheimer’s research because of the real difference they make in people’s lives. We hope our commitment encourages others to join us in investing in a future defined by thoughtful leaders, critical research, and inclusive public policy."
— Steve Green
Nancy Parker Tice, AB ’90, MBA ’98, and Paul Tice, BSBA ’90, JD ’94, have issued a second Giving Day challenge: If 500 additional donors make a gift today, they’ll contribute $25,000 to WashU!
"There’s nothing more meaningful than watching the entire WashU community unite on Giving Day — students, alumni, faculty, and friends — all coming together with a shared purpose. It fills us with pride to be part of such a wonderful community."
— Nancy Parker Tice and Paul Tice
