The Gephardt Institute needs your help! We have been challenged to raise $10,000 to support the Gephardt Institute's Engage Democracy Initiative – this crowdfunding campaign is the last stage in this challenge. While all gifts are appreciated, our goal is gifts of $10 or more.  Gifts of $10+ receive a special Gephardt Institute magnet in recognition of their gift. 

The vision of Engage Democracy is that WashU students will graduate with the knowledge, skills and commitment to actively engage in the process of democracy through political participation, public problem-solving, and civic dialogue. 

This initiative equips students for lifelong engagement in pursuit of a thriving democracy, including robust voter engagement in all election cycles, civic education, and civic skills development aimed at advancing the ideals of American democracy. In our increasingly divisive climate, a commitment to productive civic engagement and action is more important and necessary than ever.
