The late Chancellor Emeritus William H. Danforth, MD, helped transform Washington University from a well-regarded regional institution into a global force in higher education and research. Dr. Danforth’s passing offers a moment for us to reflect on WashU’s past, present, and future, each immeasurably shaped by his influence.

If 2,000 donors contribute to any area of the university by February 28, 2021, the Newmans will provide an additional $250,000 in student support.
